Overview
Let's face it, we all have received at least one phone call where someone tried to scam. Whether it is from a Nigerian prince transferring his fortune to your account and asking you to pay transfer charges or from someone dressed as police officer threatening you of dire consequences if you do not comply with their order. These scams aren't new but they sure have evolved over time.
Project Satark is aimed at understanding modus operandi of these scams and with ways to prevent them from happening. It is about keeping digital citizen aware and vigilant - satark.
We, a team of individuals who have been a victim of such frauds or having witnessed someone close falling for it are conducting a research to understand this better.
